His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Give Public Talk at Conseco Field House

His Holiness will give a public talk in Indianapolis at 9:30am on May 14, 2010 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The program, expected to draw an audience from around the globe, will be hosted by the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center (TMBCC),  the Indiana Buddhist Center (IBC) of Indianapolis, and the Interfaith Hunger Initiative (IHI) of Indianapolis, forging a new partnership among organizations whose mission of community outreach and growth is universal. Tickets for the public talk go on sale Saturday, January 16th at the Conseco Fieldhouse box office or area Ticketmaster locations. Indianapolis based Indiana Buddhist Center educates individuals about Buddhism and serves Central Indiana through neighborhood outreach programs. The Interfaith Hunger Initiative (IHI) is a program founded in Indianapolis in 2008 that calls together Jewish, Christian and Muslim leaders to reach across faith lines to enlarge engagement in ending hunger, to feed hungry people and to speak up for the hungry.
