His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet returns to Chicago on Sunday, July 17 at 1:30 pm to present a public talk entitled “Bridging the Faith Divide” presented by the Theosophical Society in America at the University of Illinois, Chicago Pavilion. His Holiness will expand upon the ideas put forth in his recent book “Toward a True Kinship of Faiths.” Emceed by Bill Kurtis, the event will feature cultural performances representing various faiths including the children of the Tibetan Alliance of Chicago and the Chicago Children’s Choir. Buddhist singer Ani Choying will give a special invocation. The set design will include artwork from an interfaith collaboration conceived and produced by Jim Lasko of Redmoon Theatre.
